Daycation Daily Schedule of Fun

At Daycation for Seniors™, we offer a diverse range of daily activities and games to keep our participants engaged, active, and socially connected. Every month, we also host special afternoon events, including live musical performances, visits from Girl Scouts, and furry friends from a local petting zoo—featuring mini horses, pot-bellied pigs, and alpacas.

Music is a big part of our daily routine, with live performances bringing joy and energy to our participants. We also incorporate a variety of chair exercises each day to promote movement and well-being. One of the most beloved experiences is our special animal visits from a local mobile petting zoo, which always brings smiles and laughter.

Community engagement is at the heart of our program. We host interactive events such as tea parties and performances by local harmonica, ukulele, and auto harp groups. Additionally, we welcome companion animals on-site, providing opportunities for meaningful connections with our seniors.

Our goal is to create a warm, inclusive, and socially enriching environment where every participant feels valued, engaged, and excited to return each day!

8:00-9:30

Early risers meet and greet. Breakfast refreshments. Socialization with reminiscing, trivia, current events.

9:30-10:30

Group table games search as Uno, other card games, other games or a type of crafting project.

10:30-11:30

Live music performance. We encourage everyone to engage with rhythm instruments, Toe Tapping and singing along. We also encourage getting up and dancing along with the music, with the assistance of activity aids.

11:30-12:00

is our fun & diverse chair exercise program.

12 o’clock

Is our special social luncheon time. Lunch is served on China with a side dish of fruit . We cultivate and create fun conversations during this time.

1:00-3:00

Is our afternoon activity time. We have fun and lively group games such as “Daycation“ Jeopardy, “Wheel of Fortune” style word game, and “family feud” style game. We engage in large motor skills games such as cornhole toss, ring toss, bocce ball and shuffleboard.

3:00

Refreshment time.

3:30-5:30

Play table games such as Yahtzee and Bingo. We Also enjoy other social activities.
